The unique USBCELL is a rechargeable battery with a difference - flip the lid and it can be charged via a USB port on your laptop or desktop computer. Rechargeable batteries can be used hundreds of times, saving you money and keeping toxic waste out of our landfills. The USBCELL goes one further, by making it easier and more convenient to recharge the battery it is used more frequent use and fewer disposable batteries are made and discarded.
USBCELLs can be used in any device that takes AA batters, from mp3 players to digital cameras to remote controls. It takes just 5 hours in a USB socket to charge the USBCELL to 90% from complete depletion. The NiMH battery does not suffer from 'memory effect', meaning you can 'top up' or partially charge the battery as many times as you like.

Why It's Good

How to Recycle
If used properly, you should be able to recharge a USBCELL about 500 times before they lose a significant amount of their capacity. The USBCELL can help protect the environment (and save you money) by reducing the amount of waste batteries, and both the packaging and the USBCELL itself can be recycled. The battery should be given to a special battery recycling see here for a list in your area (includes RadioShack, Office Depot, Staples etc). The packaging can be recycled with your other cardboard and plastic waste.
