Product Description
The TrickleSaver PC is a smart power strip which will automatically turn off PC peripherals (monitor, printer etc), when the PC is turned off. By turning off unused electronics you can save electricity, which lowers your bill and reduces your CO2 footprint. You'll be surprised how much you can save!
How It Works
The second image above shows how to setup your TrickleSaver PC. Simply plug the TrickleSaver into a power outlet, and connect a conventional power strip with all of your computer peripherals attached. Then plug the USB plug into a spare USB port on your computer. When you turn off your computer, the TrickleSaver senses that the USB port has no power, and automatically switches off all the peripherals connected to the conventional power strip. When you switch on your computer, the TrickleSaver PC senses the computer is on, and turns on all the peripherals.
Why It's Good
Turning off your computer peripherals when not in use can save huge amounts of electricity, lowering your carbon footprint and reducing your electricity bills.
There is a special energy saving calculator to work out just how much electricity/dollars/carbon you will be saving.

Unlike other auto-switching power strips, the TrickleSaver makes use of existing power strips in your home and offices. This reduces the materials in manufacturing the TrickleSaver, reduces waste from unused power strips, and lowers the cost.
