The Sunforce Solar Charger is a 60W, 4-panel solar system designed for cabins, outbuildings, RV's, boats or back-up power. The efficient solar panels convert the suns energy into electrical current, which can be used to charge a 12V vehicle or marine battery. Using a solar charger is much more efficient than an equivalent gas powered generator, and saves you a lot of money. The super-efficient crystalline solar panels are even effective on cloudy days!
Power generation details
During 7 hours of daylight the Sunforce 60W Solar Charging Kit will generate 0.42 kWh of electricity per day. This is enough to run any of the following:
- Satellite Dish - 30W for 13 hours = 0.39kWh
- Laptop Computer - 50W for 8 hours = 0.40kWh
- Energy saving bulbs - 10 bulbs at 10W (40W equivalent) for 4 hours each = 0.40kWh
- 40" Energy Star LCD TV - 90W for 4.5 hours = 0.405 kWh
