What Are Smart Power Strips?
Smart Power Strips are power strips which automatically switch off sockets to save power. They work by having a 'master' socket which acts as a switch to turn off the other sockets on the power strip. A common use is for a computer system - when the computer is powered down all the peripherals (monitor, speakers, printer etc) are automatically switched off. Saving power and electricity bills.
